- Looking at the CLASS DATA, what conclusions can you draw about the nutritional value of the meals/snack this group of students is consuming? Looking at the Class Data, the nutritional value of the meals and snacks our group of students were consuming less on calories and carbohydrates. For myself, I burn a lot of calories everyday because of hockey and it is important to gain the weight back. I focus on eating a lot of carbohydrates including pasta and potatoes to obtain energy for my body. Everybody have different bodies and I think eating healthy will help yourself in school or in sports.
- Assuming the majority of the food consumed is from the Commons dining hall and/or other venues on campus, what suggestions do you have for the food service managers. The suggestions I have for the food service managers is to offer more healthy and organic food choices. Definitely will be beneficial for us to have the opportunity eat less fried food and eat more grilled food. Healthy food choices will definitely help our bodies.
- What spices do you wish were available in the dining hall? Are there nutrients in spices? Spices I wish were available in the dining hall are organic spices including herbs and maybe fresh basil in salads could help make it much healthier and organic. Yes, there are nutrients in spices and nutrients make spices healthier.
